When I use use text to path the text is fine but the shape/object disappears into outline format and I am unable to recover it.

Every time I use Text on a Path in Affinity designer on my Mac, using pencil, pen or objects the path works but the line or object disappesrs? Advice please.

A circle continually appears on my work and can only be deleted by closing down my iPad and restarting. Am I doing some thing wrong?

Thanks, in meantime decided to export picture to desktop and dropped it into pixelmator, highlighted area for blur and used their blur effects. Find some of the basics are not easy to,use in Affinity. Will try your method. Many thanks.

I want to blur part of a picture none of the suggestions I have read have worked, can anyone help. New to affinity.
