HDR Merge Problem

I am beta testing iOS 11 and noticed that the current version of Affinity Photo for iPad has a problem with HDR Merge when using vertical photos in the vertical position of the iPad. The images are never merged into one image but instead are stacked side by side with a little of each image showing on the right side of the frontmost image. There does not seem to be any problem with horizontal images.

Banding in the clouds on HDR merge

I just started using the beta today. Now that getting files from iCloud works, I created an HDR image with 5 images. Did a basic exposure adjustment, using ICC I get extreme banding in thr sky. Unmanaged I still have banding but not as extreme using ICC. The images are Sony A6000 AWR.
