  1. I went to the panel and found out that the Renderer was set on Intel instead of Nvidia. I tryed with the Nvidia option and it seems ok. If it happens again I'll try switching off HW accelleration. Thank you
  2. You are absolutely right, I totally forgot about the blend mode! Thank you
  3. When I export a PDF the text from the Mater Pages are rasterized. See headers on attached file:
  4. Everytime I select multiple elements and the text tool activate the app stop working and I have to manually shut it down through the task manager. Publisher *dmp files attached (can't find any crash report for Designer) Publisher.exe.3348.dmp Publisher.exe.18292.dmp Publisher.exe.74604.dmp
  5. I needed to go on with my work, I had to workaround the issue so I modified the file right after I uploaded it to you
  6. I'm on Windows 10, running the latest Desktop version: v1.8.5.703 the file has been created and edited entirely on the latest version
  7. @MEB hello there you disappeared after the upload.. I was expecting at least a feedback 😅
  8. Hi, yes please it's work related stuff, an upload link would be much appreciated
  9. Hi, this bug is quite old, thought it was fixed but seems like it is not or maybe I'm doing something wrong accidentally..hope you can help me figure this out. When 2 or more artboards are on the play it happens that one of them affects somehow the position of both, changing values to decimals and making it impossible to set the position to an entire number for both. This affect consequentially the exporting of objects because one of the dimension of the exported objects changes (e.g. 960 x 875 change to 960 x 876). The problem is that this thing is absolutely random - or so it seems - and that's a huge problem when you forget to double check everything you are exporting. It's easier to understand that from the videos attached Affinity_Designer_2021-01-28_15-55-36.mp4 Affinity_Designer_2021-01-28_16-08-41.mp4 Affinity_Designer_2021-01-28_16-10-01.mp4
  10. No need to be sorry I worked my way around it in the meantime and @anon2 gave me the right advice. Don't know if it's the only way it works but I'm gonna look deeper into the constraints to understand its dynamics better
  11. Thank you, I couldn't understand the hierarchy of constraints. Removing all constraints to the artboard and setting only the object's worked perfectly. Thank you
  12. needed to scale an object consistently with the artboard but it just mess up the object Affinity_Designer_2020-12-22_12-57-07.mp4
  13. ps: sorry to be such a pain in the ass but I'm actually trying to help debug this beautiful softwares
  14. Nope, wrong again it was just because I moved the rectangle away fron the center of the half ellipse shape. Seems that the problem is with the node being a uniform curve (if I change it into a smart curve it does merge regullary)
  15. Never mind, I just had to trace the rectangle, touht it would be automatic (as in other software). I think it should be implemented as a natural behaviour
  16. Here we go again: trying to merge the shapes 1 and 2 overlapping them and that's what I get
  17. Exactly what I meant and I totally agree about the default behaviour when deleting nodes: preserve! (Thank you for the tip by the way!) I always use Inkscape when it comes to fine shaping. It has always been my first choice cause, in my personal experience, it manages nodes better than any other software I ever used and it has a lot of really usefull functions (e.g. the one that let you change positions between different objects, the possibility to distribute and align nodes, etc..) or better version of known ones (like align/distribute that let you decide what use as reference).
  18. Hello there, with the latest build (1.8.3.641) everything seems to be fine while operating with shapes (mergin, intersecting etc..). As for the nodes handling thing that is still very bad, so I still need to operate with other software too.. but this was kind of a big deal, so thank you!
  19. Glad to hear that! Sorry if I wrongly duplicated a question already issued but I haven't been able to find it Keep up the good work
