I am actually having a similar issue myself. I have everything set to default, and my images, when exported, look horrendous on Facebook. I even have the "High quality" option checked on Facebook. I even tried on Flickr to see if they would be any better, but nope. I tried my personal cloud as well, nope. I'm also kind of wondering if my color profile is out of whack. I have tried pngs, jpegs... they all turn out the same way on the web, but windows photo viewer sees them really well.
