  1. MEB, Thank you for always doing a polite explanation. The right side becomes a mask. The image becomes black of the mask and the surroundings of the image become white. Leftward becomes clipping. It is pasted inside the layer. Then I think that (clipping = paste inside), why do you have two designations? The explanation of the help also has clipping and paste inside. Is it me only a little strange feeling? Even so, The explanation of MEB is always accurate and easy to understand. thank you very much.
  2. Hello There are things that I do not know for some of the layer operations. 1. Is paste inside of layer operation the same as clipping? What is different unless it is the same? 2. If you attach the background layer to the pixel layer under the horizontal blue line to the left in the attached file called clipping, what does the vertical blue line mean to put on the bottom right? The explanation of paste inside of help was difficult for me to understand, so please look at the attached file if you are in trouble like me. Thank you. paste inside.afphoto
  3. MEB, Thank you I found out that I can not open it from Affinity Photo. cleared my head. Thank you for your polite answer
  4. MEB, Thank you You can send raw files from Apple Photos. Do not know how to open it from the file menu of Affinity Photo? You can open jpeg. OSX 10.12.4 Safari 10.1 Photos 2.0
  5. Hello There are pictures that recorded jpeg and raw at the same time in Apple Photos. Do not you know how to open Apple Photos raw files from Affinity Photo? Thank you.
  6. R C-R, Thank you I tried Selection brush & the Refine option in various ways with reference to your advice. However, good image was not obtained with this image. I noticed that there was a way to select boundaries when trying various methods. Outline of selected item. In this case, white pixels exist inside and outside the boundary line, so we chose the center 2 pixels. It is OK to paint it black in this state, but in this case I felt that my arm was scraped too much, so I painted it with the copy brush tool. The place where the arm and the hair line intersect also became a natural feeling of the copy brush tool. The hair part is so fine that I can not do it well so I painted only the fine hair part black and tried it with transparency. Please tell me if there is a better way. 4691-1.afphoto
  7. Everyone Thank you for your reply. I posted it because I could not post images. I want to eliminate white mats in the arms and hair part. One way is to magnify and carefully adjust with a brush. But, is there a smarter way? Even if you select a person or select a background, you can not select a boundary line. I would appreciate it if you would give me some advice.
