  1. Wow! I totally forgot about this topic! Has Affinity add the auto-tracing feature yet to the programs? Fingers crossing here...
  2. Wow! I totally forgot about this topic from almost two years ago. Now I'm wondering if the tutorial videos now have captions/subtitles? Patrick, any updates? Hope you'd have some good news. :^)
  3. Hi y'all! I just purchased all of the programs but realized I don't know which one would be the best fit for creating digital downloads/products. I plan to develop templates with my uncolored (just black/white) designs where the customers can purchase and download then colorize or leave it as is. I purchased Designer, Photo and Publisher (I assume Publisher isn't the one obviously lol). Oh, after I created the templates, it'd be in letter size in both portrait and landscape. So is there a minimum or safe size for printing (customers to download and print out) without any designs cut off or off the mark that I should enter in the program? Like establish a permanent size for the future designs without starting all over again in scratch. Also, do I need to create two separate sizes - one for customers to print out at home and one for the professional printing company or can it be just one size for either? Thank you in advance for your inputs and suggestions. :^)
  4. MBd - it's true re: youtube but unfortunately, even though it has improved a lot over the years since it first came out...it's not perfect and still make mistakes. If I'm learning something, I rather to have the accurate information such as this to design and don't wish to experience frustrations like not knowing what is it it erred on if the video doesn't use the arrow to point at the specific object. Ideally, if they provide transcripts, not only we can follow the videos, we can read them again for references. ;)
  5. Thanks, guys! Just for my drawings that I want to scan and have them converted on the computer (and tablet, too) for digital printables to create and print out.
  6. Thanks, Patrick and yes, please point it out to them. Perhaps having some kind of voice to text converter app or program that do the work for the developers while doing the videos. Or have the interns doing the transcripts and/or captioning/subtitling. That's what unpaid interns/volunteers do with the additional tasks no one else wanna do. :) Good idea, Yasir!
  7. I'm not sure if this question has been asked and answered already and please forgive me for repeating this if any. Is there a way to convert my drawing to graphics like automatically or in similarity. For example, I draw a square and write some words in my own handwriting, the program converts the drawn square to graphic square (chosen shape style) and converts my handwritten words to a font that's the closest to my style. If AD don't have those features, is there any program with those that can work with AD or add to AD to use them? Perhaps this either or both features seem too farfetched? I hope there is at least one if not both features to make it happen (it'd save a lot of time in my opinion). :)
  8. Just a suggestion for the current and future deaf/hard of hearing users - please add captioned/subtitles to the tutorial videos for both Designer and Photo. If possible, please let me know when it's added so I can watch those videos to learn something fully (like fully accessed to information without any guesswork). Thanks! :)
