Yep,  its not supported as far as i'm aware, only the Apple pencil, i did ask before i bought the app and that's the reply i got, also it was not a listed app on the Wacom site.

There isn't the option like there is with other apps, like Procreate, Sketchbook pro, Artrage to sync the stylus.

I have an ipad air 2, so there is no pencil support, apparently.  Since that is the case,  how about all the brushes that are available in AP?  By that I mean, can I effectively solve the problem with proper brush selection (e.g. wide vs. narrow, etc.)

I guess it is important if you want that real looking thick/thin pressure you get with a pen or pencil on paper, depends what kind of work you are doing? But only the Apple pencil is supported in the Affinity Apps, i have a Wacom Sketch that has pen pressure but only has basic use in Affinity and i only have the Designer App which has a pressure studio option for vector brushes, so not a big issue.

By basic use of the Sketch, do you mean that pressure sensitivity and palm rejection do not work with AP?

  3. I would like to know if the following is possible:

Every photo is composed of numerous colors.  I would like to separate a photo into say 10 layers.  Each layer would contain certain colors ( reds, blues, yellows, etc,). With all layers on, you would have the complete photo.  With only 1 layer on, you would have only reds showing for example.  Can this be done and do you have any tips to make the process easier?  Thanks.

If you want to blend them together, they have to overlap a little. You only need to mask the top image, making it go from 100% opaque to 100% transparent (i.e. 0% opaque).

Thank you.  If I have only one image, can I blend out the edges using a gradient mask? As an alternative, could the Settings panel accomplish this type of blending?

  5. I’m trying to find a video tutorial that shows how to blend two images together.  By that I mean:  Start with two images, one on the left and one on the right. They meet in the middle. Perhaps they are on separate layers. Initially, there will be a sharp transition line where they meet.  I would like to blend the transition so that it looks like a smooth transition.  Thanks.

  6. I am practicing selections using the Flood Selection Tool. It seems that no matter what settings I choose, nearly the whole picture is selected with one tap. In the images below, I tapped once in the white area on the left.  I have an iPad Air 2. What am I doing wrong?  Thanks.

UPDATE: I think I have a partial answer.  It seems that the part of the image that is selectable is dependent upon what layer(s) is selected.  I had thought that if a layer was showing then it was selectable.  Apparently not.

  7. Since this issue was raised, I decided to check my situation.  The AP folder is appearing in iCloud on my iPad.  But the 5 photo files in it are greyed out.  I only have one email account that I use on Mac and iPad.  What did I do wrong? Thanks,

UPDATE:  My error.  I was trying to access the photos from the wrong place in AP.
