If you need to remove pet eyes, my suggestion is to try this: http://www.paintshoppro.com/en/pages/red-eye/ It isn't in the affinity software, but it can help you if you are having the same problem like I did where my pets look like devils instead of CUTE! :) Btw, affinity is an amazing software, very simple and quick! :))

I like using PaintShop for editing and cropping as well ever since I learned from this http://www.paintshoppro.com/en/pages/photo-crop/because it preserves the quality of the image no matter the edit, crop or resize :)

I usually just blur them out in the editing process like this http://www.paintshoppro.com/en/pages/blur-images/ Mainly because I didn't learn yet that well how to shoot a photo with a blurring background but also because like this I can choose manually what to blur :)
