I am having the same problem. I found where to paste the code, but when I paste it in and hit enter, nothing happens to the color of the area I want to change. Am I missing a step?

Hello! I am a newbie to photo editing, even though I've used photoshop a little. In photoshop I learned how to change the colors of my fonts, parts of pictures, etc., just by selecting what I wanted to change, putting in the hex code of the color I wanted, and basically hitting enter. I've tried doing this in Affinity, but I'm obviously doing something wrong, because it's not working. I have exact colors that I want to use, so I need to know how to apply hex codes to change colors. I've looked at many tutorials, but they all change the color using an HSL option that I don't understand at all. I'm trying to change the colors on my business card. Will someone please help me?
