  1. Noticed something that seems to be a bug. Pressure sensitivity seems to be getting messed up while having multiple documents open. If i open AP and create a new document, pressure works fine but after creating a second and third document pressure wont work in these documents but will continue to work in the first document.
  2. Thanks for the update. I'm going to give my feedback on painting in the new update as it's the only thing I've tested as of yet. Painting with my tablet is MUCH more responsive now. Before this update the cursor would lag way behind when making quick strokes. The latency now seems on par with Photoshop. Pressure sensitivity is MUCH better now, there is a nice flow between line thickness when changing pressure as you draw. However, I can only seem to get line thickness working with pressure. I can't get any fade at all. Not sure if this is down to the app or if there's a setting for it. The jitter for brush strokes seems to be gone, just the aliasing letting it down atm. EDIT: On closer inspection there seems to be a lot of interpolation creating straight edges when drawing a circle or curved line quickly. Brush strokes still have a lot of aliasing which looks better when zooming the canvas out. I guess this is a rendering problem and not to do with the lines produced by the brush. EDIT: I'm wrong. If i save the image and open it anywhere else, the aliasing is still there. Cheers!
  3. Attached is a side by side comparison of AP and PS showing line quality and pen pressure with a HUION 1060 Plus. As you can see, the quality and pressure in AP isn't very good. So is this a bug? Will we eventually get quality like we see in PS?
  4. Thanks MEB, but I've just realized I posted this in the wrong forum. This was meant to go into the "Affinity Photo on Windows Beta" forum:( Could you move this post there? Sorry about that and thanks again.
  5. Did you have to change any settings? Because out of the box I'm not getting any pressure sensitivity with my Huion tablet.
  6. Hey, First of all, I welcome Affinity Photo on Windows with open arms. I've been waiting for it for so long and have been eager to make the switch from Photoshop. I have however, noticed a couple of problems from the get go. The first being that pressure sensitivity doesn't seem to be working for me (I'm using Huion tablet) but I'm not sure if it's due to my tablet not being supported or if I am missing some setting for it. Does anyone have any advice to get this working? The second is something I have seen mentioned here already, and that is the aliasing on brush strokes looks really bad. I expect this is just a bug. Does the Mac version have the same aliasing problems? Cheers!
