Damn really? Yeah seems like a no-brainer.
Does it have support for Macbook Pro's Touchbar though?

Hi ianhg,
I'd suggest having a read of this thread as it covers the best workflow method for RAW files and has a lot of great information
Thank you for the reply and link.

Hi
Would it be possible to have tutorial video on setting up how to handle RAW files from Canon. I have Canon 7d MK2 and nearly always the Canon RAW file histogram appears very heavy towards the dark side. If I run the same image in Canon software it appears much better. The in camera jpg histogram when I took the pictures looked OK. I have read several comments on the forum, but just getting confused. Should the image always be set to 16 Bit or why should you not use 32 bit. What would be the best settings in Develop assistant and are there any other options. Thanks

Hi
I have an Apple running AP 1.7.3
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) Processor 3.3GHz Quad_core Intel Core i5 24GB 1867 MHz DDR3 and AMD Radeon R9 M395 2GB graphics card
I am find opening .CR2 files very slow if you try and select a large number at once say 20. They are loading from an external hard drive.
Does any one know of an optimum number of files that will opening quickly, or should initially store directly to my Apple hard drive to speed the process?

Thanks for the reply, I am sure the take up of a product like Dreamweaver would be high. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Is there any possibility that Affinity would produce an app to compete with Adobe Dreamweaver

Thanks for a speedy reply

Does anyone know?
Are there plans in the future to allow Affinity Photo to manage photo libraries like Aperture does? If so when is it likely to happen?
Thanks, for a great app

Sorry for the delay in replying, and thank you for your response.

HI Recently purchased Affinity Photo using it on my iMac with Sierra. I have a couple of questions if anyone can help.
I have plugins from Macphun Creative Kit but if I try using any of them Affinity crashes, are there any solutions?
Secondly once you have resized an image how can you make the canvas resize to match/fit?
Thanks
Ian

Hi
I am very new to the app and publishing. Can anyone explain when I export from Publisher to pdf everything looks OK. But if I open the new PDF doc in Affinity Publisher some letters/words are garbage.
PDF opened in Affinity looks like this:
' Christmas BriĜany Break
This is a good opportunity for a relaxing break aĢer all the Christmas shopping has been done and before the arduous Christmas fesHviHes begin. It’s also a chance to stock up with some keenly priced French goodies, wines, cheeses, etc and enjoy a typical French dinner before deparHng. We are oĢen asked why we follow the same programme each year. It’s simple - it works! '
In Affinity Publisher original doc and exported PDF looks like this:
' Christmas Brittany Break
This is a good opportunity for a relaxing break after all the Christmas shopping has been done and before the arduous Christmas festivities begin. It’s also a chance to stock up with some keenly priced French goodies, wines, cheeses, etc and enjoy a typical French dinner before departing. We are often asked why we follow the same programme each year. It’s simple - it works! '
Font used in Affinity Publisher Calibri -- So it seems to export OK just an issue if I open the expected doc in Affinity Publisher.
Thanks
