  1. You nailed my same idea about tools/ shape modifiers in AD, i think it's a better way compared to the current corner tool or non destructive booleans. Maybe will be less immediate to learn/ use them but in a future with more tools everything should be more organized, powerful and non destructive. Now you'll have to start other threads with the other Blender equivalent modifiers as: array( instead of ctrl+j), bevel, boolean, smooth, decimate, lattice, displace, curve, etc... , almost every modifier can have an "eqivalent" in 2d, also particles and fluids ;)
  2. @ bleduc: yes, i was meaning the "hsl colour wheel" but there is also HSL in the Adjustments that can be used for corrections as you said. Yet another thing/ probable bug/ question (discovered while trying HSL adjustment :D ): in the manual is written that you can drag an adjustment layer into an object thumbnail so the adjustment will affect only that object. However seems like it's also affecting the objects inside that one (the "child" layers): link or attachment image in the example image the "invert adjustment" should invert only the colour of "originally black" rectangle, instead is modifying also the two ellipses inside. The result should have been: white ellipse+ blue ellipse inside white rectangle, unless i'm ovelooking something.
  3. Sean P: good to know, thanks! bleduc: That's what happening. But, if i understand correctly, Sean wrote that changing color using sliders (i presume also HSL/ boxes) should reset tint value to 100% : " if you change pick another colour using the sliders it will reset to tint back to 100%" which was the behaviour i was "expecting", but that's not happening.
  4. Another thing: if plugging the tablet to my system (intuos 5, windows 10) the search function in the help window becomes very slow when typing. Edit: Another one, not sure if working "as supposed" : when zooming with ctrl + mouse wheel with the cursor in the Navigator panel, maximum zoom is capped at 100%, can't go further. No problems using the the slider (until 1000%) or + and - buttons. Probably would be also better if the navigator could zoom toward the cursor position.
  5. Sean, Mike: thanks for explanation, now it's clearer :) This is not happening though... if after modifying tint (say at 20%) i change colour using sliders/ hsl/ boxes (from color panel> panel preferences), tint will stay at 20% . To be honest as a hobbyist i doubt i will need that tint slider, was just curious about his "behaviour" ;)
  6. So it's a bug i guess, it's acting similarly to the opacity/noise slider, across all color selectors. I'll try to explain better: - create a rectangle and i give it a R255 G0 B0 colour using the sliders mode - switch to the tint mode and give 50% value (50% ink = 50% white on the screen?) - switch back to the sliders mode and the colour visible on the rectangle remains with 50% tint, also if in the slider the value is still R255 G0 B0 . Changing color will not change the 50% tint. From the colour picker the value of that color is "correctly" interpreted as R255 G128 B128 .
  7. I have a question about the tint slider: is supposed to affect the resulting colour also if i switch to e.g. the HSL colour wheel? Another minor issue: swatches greys, colours and gradients lists are still displayed as the system language instead of the language i set up in the preferences, same as the styles and text styles panels.
  8. Hi, just wanted to report a minor issue with 1.5.17 (on Windows 10), don't know if was present in previous versions. When moving/dragging around curves using the node tool that curve will jump/glitch just for a fraction of time. Seems like is not affecting the positioning of curves, it's just a visual "annoyance".
