Hi All, Searched through the forums on creating stickers / cut paths and have tried several methods with not so good results. If I take and create a simple idea and then use the outline tool I come up with the attached first file. The problem is I need a cut line beyond that and other than manually tracing I haven't found a good way to get it. I tried the conture tool and the problem there is I get really odd artifacts in the resulting outline. 2nd image. I found one thread that stepped through a process that included a "Grow / Shrink" option, but couldn't find that anywhere in designer. Also I found the 'bake appearance' button but wasn't exactly sure that that does. Maybe in finalizes the contour process? Any thoughts and especially pointing to an example would be extremely helpful. Thanks, Ken

My first project ever in affinity designer and I needed the blooming contour, couldn't find it anywhere, only to come here and see it appears it is not available. Had to switch back to windows / Drawplus 8x to get the job done. It was a vinyl cutting job of a medallion type logo, so I needed a larger perimeter black border around the entire logo. While I certainly am excited about the prospects of Affinity Designer, that was certainly disappointing. Ken
