Hi Gabriel
Mac version 1.0 (well, the first beta, anyway) of Affinity Photo was released in February 2015.
Windows version was released November 2016, and both platforms were brought up to version 1.5 (using the same core code).
So far, we (as users) are looking forward to the 1.6 release (along the lines of "it will be released when it's ready").
I suspect there is no official release date planned yet for v1.7, let alone v2, so I don't think there can be an official answer for you.
Okay, so not at all regularly then. Thanks for the info!

Hi Gabirel,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
You only have to pay for major upgrades (v2, v3, etc). All minor updates are free.
Hey MEB, thanks for the fast reply. How often do major upgrades appear?

Hi
If I buy Affinity Photo now will I get all future updates or will i have to pay for them each time a major update is released? I'm fairly sure from some research it's the latter but I just want to make absolutely sure.
Cheers
Gabriel :)

Hi Gabriel2112 (Nice Rush reference ;) )
Are you selecting one of the circular nodes (it will appear bigger than the others) on the gradient line? You have to select one before you can change its colour. Failing that would you be able to attach the document you are struggling with so we can take a look?
Thanks
I actually figured it out shortly after posting the topic and I think that what you said was the problem :) .
Very good to see you get the Rush reference :D

Hello :)
I'm using the latest Affinity Designer Windows Beta and I'm trying to change the colour of the gradient so that it's not just black to white and I'm trying to change the black part if that makes sense. I've done it a couple of times with success but I'm not precisely sure how and when I repeat what I do another time it doesn't work.
Cheers

I haven't done much in Affinity Designer while I've had it but I made this a couple of days ago and really like it. The top one is the first version I made and the second one (which I prefer because it's cleaner) is one that I turned white and went over the lines with the pen tool.
