  1. Thanks Mark!

Click helps sometimes and sometimes not (level scrolling). When I click in a field and then scroll, the number changed shortly. After that, the page is scrolled again. Some input fields scroll continue but only slowly. Other input fields scroll normally. I recognize no system behind it. This is very, very strange!

There is the problem, as I said, since version 12.

  2. Thanks for the reply!

I understood: The isolation mode is intended not to look at, but the edit that level. If you keep the trick with the CTRL key, I can live with that :).
How do you do that in AFPhoto? Like in Photoshop/Illustrator? There, the ALT key is used as a switch.

A positive note: A double-click on a level Tumbnail generates a maximum view of the layer object. This is excellent and very useful.
  3.

You can also de-select the layer by clicking on a blank space, which will display the other elements again.

Oh, no. This is even more complicated.

Either method does not require any more steps than the other

No, there are no more steps. But it is more complicated, because I have to use the mouse to another location.

    Addendum:
I found out the following. A single level can appear with ALT clicking on it. And a CTRL click the same place (not on thumbnail) displays all the levels again. This is excellent. But why another key and not also the ALT key ???

  4. Tanks for reply!

    ...
No. I have used no mask. I did it in "CorelDraw". I've drawn four rectangles. Then I cut to the last rectangle by the first. While both objects are preserved. It is the Boolean operator "Crop" (similar to "Subtract" in AFDesigner). I do this very often.

I like AFDesigner. And I would be very happy about this functionality :)

  5.

Rendering of the document is now much faster, especially for high contention situations such as typing text, or transforming objects or curves nodes. We now make much more use of the CPU(s), and as such, we may be hitting 100% usage during certain situations. This is entirely intentional, and expected.

    (1) Unfortunately not much has changed at the start speed yet in the version 1.5.0.10. For the first time, there are over 15 seconds. In new starts, there are now about 12 seconds.

    (2) Also the path problem persists: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/23171-problems-with-the-pen/  Or is that not a performance problem?
