(RC4) Refine selection - Issues
Matej Junk replied to Matej Junk's topic in [ARCHIVE] Designer beta on Windows threads
Indeed, this has been greatly improved. I get a max of two messages when scrolling in a number which is much better than before. Point 1. and 2. have been fixed. The speed improvement of refine selection is also clearly noticeable. Thanks. -
Hi Rubs, I got used to quickly accessing compound components directly in the canvas. In the .85 beta you can only select them through layers panel and I usually make compounds to quickly make some edits after the fact and then convert them to curves, so I personally prefer the previous behavior, but I see your point and maybe a preference setting could be a solution for both worlds. Cheers, Matej

Hi, For example: 1. Create an artboard and a square both 16x16 px in size and aligned to center in both directions. 2. Turn ON "Pixel view mode" with "Force pixel alignment" = ON and with "Move by the whole pixel" = OFF. 3 .Observe the square and the artboard being misaligned - if you move the artboard, the artboard constantly changes the relative position towards the square, but they never display aligned, which they should. P.S. Happens also in the latest AD for Windows retail version. Regards, Matej

It is indeed possible . I'm not sure if this was added in the mean time, because I haven't noticed someone mentioning it, but you can export specific artboards in a single pdf document and it is actually pretty trivial: Just select the artboards you want to export in layers panel or by shift+clicking the the artboard titles in the canvas and go to Export to pdf > Area:Selection without background > Export and you will get a multipage pdf of just the selected artboards. I wish I had known this sooner, so I'm posting this for those who were, like me, missing this "hidden" feature. :) Regards, Matej
