Thanks for coming back to me :-) Am i best using this as a stand alone app then if I want to use the full Nik Collection on my Mac? I only use Affinity for editing.?

I Have managed to successfully install the plug ins - does the defin 2 not work with Affinity? I keep getting an error message saying that it can't apply it to a separate layer and that I should check to make sure I am not working with a restrictive software version....has anyone else had this?

Hi there Just watched the cloning video and very good. I am struggling to using the erase tool to blend the edges of the clone item... when I select the erase tool in my picture it just erases (removes pixels) and doesn't blend as it is showing on the video? The guy on the video says "let sure the erase tool to paint out the edges"....is he actually using the paint tool and not the erase do you think? I am confused! Anyone point me in the right direction as I am clearly doing something wrong!!

Hi there V V V new to editing so sorry if this is an obvious answer. I have found the inpaint tool (which was tough) and I am using this to select what I need to remove from my picture - when I release the mouse once all highlighted in red - it doesn't remove anything - image stays the same! I am editing the pixel layer! What am I doing wrong please? Many thanks
