Many thanks... I'll try it. I've been struggling on how much to optimize jpegs for the Web. Google tells me my images are too large, but when I try to shrink them down for the Web, they don't look good. Thanks for your answer here...

Looks like I've reached a dead end on this... I just bought Affinity Photo. Guess I'll try to work through this somehow.

I use File> Save for Web...

Here is the original file... And, I might add that when saving image files for the Web, I try to minimize file size without doing too much damage to the image.

I attached two images to my original post. One from Affinity and one from Photoshop Express. I can see them in my OP. Can you???

I'm new to Affinity Photo; in fact, trying out the trial. I've been using Photoshop Elements 13 and 10 and not really happy with PE13 (slow). For Web blog, I routinely use jpegs in 900x600 format. So, I will take a photo, either sent to me or shot with my Olympus Pen camera or iPhone6, open it in PE, crop to 6x4 aspect ratio, resize to 900x600 and export in low quality. When I try this in AP, I get strange looking images. So, I figure I must be missing something here. I'll try attaching 2 photos here... One an AP export, the other PE export. I've been increasingly interested in improving my personal photos. Using Mac Photos auto enhancements, I can improve them somewhat, but looking at doing more...Same for PE auto settings. I'd appreciate any suggestions...
