Lack of Smart Objects is the main thing that's keeping me from making a full transition to Affinity. -
Hi JFisher, When I right click on a spare channel, I get a limited set of options listed below. Rename Delete Load To Pixel Selection Add To Pixel Selection Subtract From Pixel Selection Intersect With Pixel Selection None of these allow me to view or edit those channels. More specifically, I want to be able to see the grayscale channel and be able to modify it using all the available painting tools (much like photoshops channels).

Cannot move layers on layer panel

I too had the same issue where I couldn't rearrange the layers. After restarting the application, it worked.
