I am a Screen Printer & the only reason I use a drawing program is to create Colour Separations, Affinity doesn't appear to be able to do this so it's almost totally useless for me. When are they going to add Colour Separation capability? -
Color names

I don't believe how a simple question about a simple thing like "what are the colours in a document & what are their names" can be this complicated. I love FreeHand because it does everything so logically & simply, this was what I was hoping for in Affinity, will I be dissapointed? -
When creating a color palette from a file, I get all the color swatches but they have no pantone names or any name at all. How can I tell what the colors in the document are? Also does designer have a find & replace tool like FreeHand does or an Insert path tool?

I've downloaded the latest demo, but after installing it, it tells me it's expired because I'v had a demo before. Seems pointless having demo's if I can't use them. The program is no use to me untill it has Pantone capability, I can't even tell if the software suits me bacause I can't get a demo to work. Please fix this problem.

Well said Newbie, I currently still use Freehand for most things & I also use Illustrator cc which I hate with a passion except the Live trace. Freehand's trace was never any good. Affinity looks good to me so far but untill they put in Pantone colors it's useless to me. The demo is also now useless as it's expired & if I download another one it's also immediately expired.

Versaworks needs a Spot color Cutline which I believe Affinity can't create yet. I haven't purchased the program yet because there's no Pantone or spot color capability which for me makes it unusuable. I thought It may have been added now but I can't install a 2nd trial. Regards Bernie
