Thank you both. I knew about this option and was more concerned with when I open a photo the screen is set up the way I wanted. I guess I'll have to change it each time.

Is there any way to set the default start up screen to use inches for the measurements and have one of the "info" sampler panels set to LAB? I can't find anywhere in the Settings tabs where I can do that. Thank you.
