I would also be glad if this problem would disappear. I talk a lot of people into Affinity Photo and got a lot of complains now... I have no clue what goes wrong but I am sure it could not be rocket science to fix the bug. It is an official API for Photos and I pretty sure you would even get some help from Apple if you can not find the cause on yourself. So please fix it soon.

Just updated Mac OS to 10.15.1, but still the same problem.

+ 1 for Scripting I don't care about the language - AppleScript/JavaScript/Phyton - everything would be really appreciated. I do a lot of work with AppleScript in Illustrator and love it. It must be possible to place all kind of objects (including text) at precise positions, modify their attributes like color etc. and i am fine ;-) BTW Great Work! I bought Designer and Photo, both are wonderful programs. There is always room for improvement, but both are already very useful in my humble opinion.
