I'll repost here what I've mistakenly written in an old V1 feedback thread. It's easy for someone who never needed 1-bit depth to overlook just how incredibly powerful, practical and ubiquitous 1-bit images are. Affinity should support that in, out and through. It's easy for someone who never needed 1-bit depth to overlook just how incredibly powerful, practical and ubiquitous 1-bit images are. Affinity should support that in, out and through. It is quite literally "digital imaging 101".

"we will never implement 1bit document support" Why? What is the rationale behind this dogma? There is a saying in my mother tongue which says: "Whoever can do more, can do less". In other words, when your software can handle 16-bit, it seems obvious it should handle 1-bit. Isn't it normal for users (and non-users, for that matter) to think that way? Really curious. I miss 1-bit support quite often.
