  1. Thanks much for the help.. It needs to be as accurate as possible within the bounds that one can reasonably do. it would be great to have all the grid lines parallel or perpendicular.
  2. Photo, Mac During an Export, the progress bar stays on top of everything, even if you switch away from Photo.
  3. How do I enable the transform panel? It's visible but everything disabled. Her is an example of what I have. The horizontal lines are not at right angles to the vertical lines.
  4. I have a lot of scanned blueprints. These frequently have equally spaced vertical and horizontal lines. During the blueprint, scanning, or microfilm process these lines end up deviating such that the vertical and horizontal lines are not perpendicular. Is there any simple way in Photo transform an image with a grid of lines into an image where the grid is perpendicular and equally spaced?
  5. fde101's description of the state of the union is correct. Line composition does not produce professional looking justified documents. Just look at legal filings made in Word and how terrible they appear, even those in the Supreme Court. But as long as people keep buying Word as it is, M$ has no incentive to fix the problems that have been in it for 30 years.
  6. Paragraph composition has been around for several decades.
  7. That's the same thing the prevents me from totally switching to Affinity Publisher.
  8. That appears to have fixed the problem.
  9. On my system (Mac), if I select Document Setup, Affinity displays the document setup dialog, then becomes totally unresponsive. It has to be killed from the task manager.
  10. I have some PDFs that Affinity merged into spreads into one page. Is there any way to divide them into two pages?
  11. Is there any way to get Publisher to edit a PDF without discarding filled in fields?
