I don't know how I turned 'show context tool' off, but I did. Thank you. That was making me crazy.

Since I updated Designer to 2.3 [Ella] I've 'lost' the gradient tool options. There are no options, pull downs for different fills. The selected tool is only a gradient [which works as it should]. Can I, or should I, go back a version or two? If so, how? Thanks for the help

Thanks to one and all. This is a great forum. But, the problem was the dreaded 'operator error'. Everything is good now. Thanks to one and all.

Thanks for the feedback. Ah, operator error. Or, is it the machines? It's hard to know, but probably operator error.

I want to fill with a bitmap. There should be a pull down with options once the fill tool is selected. I've got the current AD ver2, running under the current version of Ventura.

I don't have options for filling shapes when I choose the vector flood tool. I've used it on this version of AffDesign2 within the last couple of months. All of a sudden the fill options are missing. Here's a shot of my screen when I've selected that tool. There should be fill options available. What am I missing?
