  1. Hmm, OK, thus I do not understand how layers work in Affinity Photo, I thought they are like in Photoshop, i.e. I select Layer from Layers list pane, then select Move Tool (press V), and then click on layer contents and drag it using mouse. Does it indeed work differently (so after each move I need to 'finalize' that movement to have it saved)? By the way, if that was just a selection - as I understand when I clicked on Layer in the Layers list I did not select layer but just created a selection of layer contents - then how it is possible that I can scale it? I tried this with just a selection using Rectangular Marquee tool and that was not possible. Apologies, I come from Photoshop world and can't understand why some things in Affinity work totally different, and usually I can't do simple things as they should work, but need to dig into documentation and frankly speaking, I can not find anything about how to move layer contents in the Affinity's documentation (this does not say that I need to finalize movement of layer each time I move contents: https://affinity.help/photo/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Tools/tools_move.html&title=Move Tool)
  2. Pšenda it looks you're using Windows, not macOS, and also one layer not two. Also do you use 2.4.0 version? btw. does it prove something that it works for you? For me not
  3. To replicate this bug: 1. Create image with some pattern and a layer. 2. Save image and reload. 3. Move layer only to a new position. 4. See that File/Save is not active, Ctrl+S does not work 5. Reload image and see that layer was not moved. A workaround for this is to use Save As instead of Save, but that can be overlooked quickly as even Affinity does not ask to save image on close even though it was modified (i.e. layer has been moved). Affinity Photo version 2.4.0 macOS
  4. To replicate this bug: 1. Create background image with some pattern. 2. Copy background into a layer on top of background image. 3. Move that layer so that it is partially outside image. 4. Save image. 5. Close and load the image. 6. Move layer and you'll see that pixels which were outside image were not saved. Can't find any setting that causes this, how to make the Affinity save all / full layers instead of cropping them before save? So that I can move layer partially outside image, and be able to move it back after image reload (e.g. next day). Affinity Photo version 2.4.0 macOS
  5. After most recent update the window is not moved to primary display when secondary display is disconnected. I have 2 monitors, the second monitor is disconnected now, when I open file the window is not visible, because it is presented outside screen.
  6. This does not work with hand-selection tool (i.e. clicking CTRL does and adding selection via free-hand selection does not add selection)
  7. Affinity Photo is great and I really like it, but sometimes it drives me mad as I do not understand what is going on. Could you please someone explain why my whole layer colour changes whenever I change selected colour (e.g. with pipette) to purple, then when I press ESC it changes colour again to sepia etc. I assume this may show only one colour from RGB or is in some mode that any change of colour changes colour of whole layer, but WHY? Attached screenshots before and after I clicked with pipette on a colour. How to fix this and simply select colour with pipette?
