Adjustments on mask...Plz explain!!!!

Hello Guys! I'm pretty new to affinity but Plz explain me why you can't simply edit your mask like photoshop. I mean, when I try to apply an adjusment layer to the mask, It doesn't change. Also when you rasterize a layer you seem to lost things... Plz see the video 250523.mp4
