@MEB Have just tried to fill a selection on a Pixel layer using 'Fill with Primary Colour' and also 'Fill with Secondary colour', and neither option works. The only option that works is the 'Fill...'. option. On top of that, even though I have a shortcut configured (Option + Backspace) for 'Fill with Primary Colour', not only does it not fill the selection, but it completely deletes the layer. There are so many issues with basic AP tools and functionality that it's starting to make me regret getting rid of my Adobe subscription.

@MEB Any idea when this is going to get resolved? It still doesn't work properly in 2023 with AP v2.0.4. This is one of the most basic things you can do within Photoshop. It's disappointing that AP doesn't allow you to simply enlarge a selection without feathering the edges. This issue and other issues like Fill with Primary/Secondary colour not working properly, really makes it hard to persist with using AP.

Have just found this topic and sad to see that after years of discussion, there's still issues with this simple bit of functionality. I've assigned shortcut keys to both "Fill with Primary Colour" (Mac Opt + Backspace) and "Fill with Secondary Colour" (Mac Ctrl + Backspace), but they just don't work. When selecting those options from the Edit menu, the functionality works as expected, but the shortcut keys that have been assigned just refuse to work. Any chance this will ever get fixed??
