when I try to draw a rounded rectangle, I get a normal rectangle

I found this error in Macbook pro as well. When I try to create rounded rectangles, it creates normal rectangle. I have to go to click on the "presets" gear and select rounded rectangle As shown in below screenshot, I had the rounded rectangle selected in the left hand tool bar and tried to use it.

I am using latest Affinity designer version. I trying to import a google icon svg file as an asset. I created a new category. when I try to import the assets, the finder window does not allow me to select the svg file. Are SVG files not allowed to be imported as assets?

Between Designer and uPblisher I am not sure which is more suited for wireframing / UI mockup screen designing? Do people use Affinity publisher or Designer for wireframing or UI mockup screens? Is Designer/Publisher good alternatives to Balsamiq/Figma? Or, am I using Affinity for the wrong purpose?

I am running Designer V2 on macos at resolution 2294X1432. I want dock the colors tool window to the bottom. But it lives as a separate window. It sits with z-index higher than the drop downs of the main window. Not a defect, but looks a bit weird. [Don't ask why I want to keep such wide color tool ]

Are there any assets for web ui development like MaterialUI or basic HTML widgets

A linkedIn course on Affinity shows a lot more assets than I have on mine. He has iOS UI controls etc to create wireframes. Where do I get those UI control assets.
