    Brilliant, thanks for the pointer. I updated .net 3.5 to SP1 and it worked! I am still on 1.x, I was holding off upgrading to 2.x to see how it performed under linux since I switched permanently. Would you say 2.x performs any better under wine?

    I have been able to install Photo in Bottles, but I am getting the Aero is not enabled error, I have --no-hw-ui in the command arguments but it doesn't seem to be working, anyone have any ideas?
