In the published version, scrolling in and out sent the code to never land, in the beta version, i have not tried scrolling in and out, just selected the image from the layers list, and then try to erase the outer black frame line. Cant do it, its impossible!!! you can select all day and try to erase all day, it wont happen. this file edited and saved with beta 2.1 is set up to just try to erase . Try it, can you do it? if so how did you do it? This is happening over and over. If i start with a new instance and then load in the pages i need from the pdf, i can edit maybe 2, sometimes 3 of the pages, before it fails. Then i have to drop it all and start again. Not really a useful feature for business! or any editing, you know? In this upload i have the wrong tool selected, lol, sorry, select the correct tool to erase and try it. wildflowersofbri01adam2.afdesign

I see that the betas dont port over any of the other additions? when will this be added. Can i just install the beta in a different directory?

I just closed the app and opened it and cant even get it to let me use the delete i the selection even one time now. This is completely useless software! Make a selection, using either the selection icon or just click on it in the layers, now click the eraser, and zoom in, and you have lost the entire selection! if you keep trying to zoom out select zoom back in then the dumb thing stops responding. I mean really. This is so wrong.

reading others posts here it looks like it may be the zoom, and not the selection which i thought it was. select the object zoom in, and erase, the selection is lost. zoom out click select icon and it shows as being selected, zoom in and try to erase, and nada, over and over but about the 3rd time in it crashes. gets lost in never never land. its crap and should never have been made public till it was fixed! im guessing the coders cant find it. so they just let it go. sorry but im frustrated with purchasing a product that is so buggy. over and over and over.

this happens to me also, not quit the same computer, but close to it. It also crashes and looses itself by just selecting and then zoom in and then try to erase something,. It goes crazy saying something about rasterizing? i dont know its junk, and mostly unusable i guess if you need to scroll you have to save close and open to start over and then it happens again., crap

Now if i zoom in and out, it goes all over the place, to the left to the right up and down?

oh!!!! right you are lol. I just tried this and yes thats what i remembered. Thank you! Im doing too many new things at once, learning c++ again and the editors, and these, lol. I work on these to take a break from the other. Now i need a break from them, lol.

Yes that worked space bar and drag Thank you didnt work, lol, i have the wheel set to zoom however, if i tilt the wheel to the right it does 'grab' the window to drag it anywhere. Im trying to find key strokes to use on the drawing pad buttons so i dont have to use the keyboard and the pad. Thank you very much!

Yes it has changed. before they opened one above the other, on my screen, as separate pages/layers. and the background was grey er light colored as usual. Now they open on a full black background that looks like a grid of pages, several columns across and several rows down. I hate that makes it so difficult to edit them. Especially when i go through and delete some from each row. Now editing to get them to line up in each page has nothing to judge the center horizontally or vertically, nothing next to it to fix on. Sorry i dont know the proper terms for that. I tried using shift to constrain the movement but that doesnt work either, when you drag part of the page off you can move it up and down, so it doesnt stay on the same axis to move it back to the page later to its place. I dont know how to make a video to show you what i mean, maybe set up my phone to point at my screen? I know there are other ways, but at them moment i am clueless.

I had designer 2 freeze on me tonight, after starting again it did have a recovery file to load from. Ok i cant remember where to turn off hardware accelerator? win10 16g

A few days ago it opened each page as a separate layer, not on an artboard. Now they are loaded one after the other on an art board. I dont care for editing them on art board. How do i get them to load in normally? Just as layers.

Actually, i grouped the two things, an oval and a square to drag the transparency across both of them. And when i tried to add another it deleted the first one.

Seems if i add one to my selection and then click again to add another, the first one vanishes. How do i add more?

thank you. I found some info on the web. You have to use a script to get it back as the system doesnt recognize the trustedInstaller even though its on the list! It doesnt see it to change it back to the owner. So, some apps are corrupted. lol. ack! like my photo viewer? i had to download it again. looks like i will have to do that with each app now although that file is so full of files i doubt i will ever have it fully working again. Im afraid to run the fixer for it, yeah. I dont understand the code it will run so i hate to use something like that. oh well if anyone reads this dont do what i did. Although v2 is working ok as far as i can tell, lol.

ok i found where they are stored in windows apps. I also went in and changed the ownership of it so i could view the files in there, wow so many. I didnt realize it. Now can you do me a favor? if on win 10 can you look at that file and see who the owner is supposed to be? yeah, 73 and stupid. lol. I thought i would remember but i do not, and id like to change it back. Ok, thank you

Thank you very much for such a fast answer. Yes, i finally figured that out. Its funny, so used to desktop icons, faster then clicking start etc. I just tried dragging it to my desktop from the start menu icons and it said it was putting a link on desktop where i dropped it, so that worked. Now i know i can drag other icons from the start menu to the desktop. But i still dont know where they are actually located on my computer? oh wait.... oh what??? i clicked on the icon to click on properties and open file location, and its greyed out so you cant see where its located? So its a hidden file now? How do i find it? Thank you

I just try to install them again. I have looked in the folder and if it has the correct dates for file creation, but if i click on the icon for each it opens V1 and tells me there are new V2!! Frankly, im tired of this nonsense! HOW DO I FIND THE ICONS TO PLACE ON MY DESKTOP FOR V2? WHERE ARE THEY?
