  1. Oh my goodness. Mind is blown. 🤯 I had no idea the PDF actually had a million layers! How did I not know that? Thanks so much. You just changed my life. 😬👍🏼
  2. Hi guys, I'm trying to turn one of the swirl symbols on the attached Shutterfly download into a vector with a transparent background. Specifally one of the white swirls that currently has a black background, I want to save the white swirl only ... no black background. I've done it before with one of the other ones on this PDF, but can't figure out how to do it again, or what search term I Googled to get the answer. I know how to set a document to have a transparent background, so that's not the issue. I hope I've explained it well enough. Thanks for your help! Koru Shutterfly Download.pdf
  3. I've made a handful of designs on Affinity Designer and have always been able to see the grid through my canvas. All of a sudden I cannot and I can't figure out why. I see the grid all "around" the canvas, just not running through it.
  4. Thank you so much, Lee D. I just now saw your reply. I never got an email and no notifications. :/ I guess I have to check my settings.
  5. Hey guys, I'm brand new to Affinity Designer, and have very limited experience with programs like Illustrator and Photoshop. I'm creating a new Squarespace website and would like to use one of the color codes I have there to create a graphic. How can I enter a code somewhere without just eyeballing it? Thanks, Jenna
  6. Hey guys. Introducing myself here. I'm working on a new Squarespace website and wanted something to create basic graphics, including simple Pinterest type graphics for people to post on Facebook and Pinterest. I know just a smidgen about how to use programs like Illustrator and Photoshop, but need help with the littlest of things on Affinity Designer, like how to get a background color on the page. I finally figured that one out ... and that's as far as I've gotten on my first little project. ;) Hence, I'm now off to post my first question. Jenna
