File type suddenly not supported

I am, all up to date. Looks like there isn't any hope of recovering - wondering what I can do to prevent this in the future? I'm now saving multiple copies in as many universes as I can...

File type suddenly not supported

annapreston posted a topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I was working on a file, saved it, and it suddenly shut down and said "file type not supported". I do have an earlier version of the file but it does not have all of the work I just put into it. Why would this happen? Can anyone help me recover the file? It's too large to attach to the forum. Send help please! WG-2023.afpub.zip
