When I export in Publisher, it saves each page as a separate file, even if I specify to export pages "1-5." How do I export multiple pages into one PDF file?

I want the top half of the tree to overlap everything but the roots at the bottom of the tree to be confined to the stripe pattern in the background (i.e. to go behind the text box at the right and the border at the left). My plan was to cut the tree in half and just drag the bottom half to the striped pattern in my layers panel, but I can't find out how to cut the tree in half. It is a group of vectors. Is there a way to do this?

Thank you all for your help! I just realized that if I change the document settings to RGB the color matches.

Here is a screenshot of the "Fill" box. The document is set up as CMYK, and in the Fill box it shows CMYK, but the colors still don't match.

I'm trying to change the background color in a shape text, but the color displayed on the paper is always more muted than the color displayed on the color selector. See the pic below. How do I fix this so that the colors match?
