  1. @sansnomThank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately none of the suggestions have worked. I tried them all, but still have no preview of my Affinity files.

  3. After installing version 2.5.3 of Affinity Designer and Photo no snapshots are visible in Finder. They were visible before the upgrade. Just the Affinity logo is shown. I use MacOS 15 beta.
  4. Hi, I did as you proposed. The unexpected error message re-appeared when I closed Designer, but when I tried a second time there was no error message. Let's hope it stays like this. It's not a big deal, but just a bit annoying. Thanks
  5. Each time I close Affinity Designer I get an unexpected error message. I always save the document before closing the app. Then, when I close it, the attached error details appear. Designer error message.txt
  6. @Callum, @Hangmanis right. This is exactly what I sometimes experience!
  7. @CallumAs with the majority of bugs, this one does not always happen. I noticed two things: incorrect values in the Transform window and a stange behaviour of the transform origin. I use the move tool to reposition the transform origin indicator of a curve. I design mandalas so in most of the cases I drag it to the center, using snapping. Normally the Transform window should reflect the coordinates of the moving indicator, but its correct new values only appear when I release the mouse button. During the move the values are changing but they are not correct. This is very annoying when I need a specific location. In some cases, and again only with curves, the transform origin indicator moves to a place different from where I move it to (also when snapping). My workaround is to group the curve because then I have no problems. PS The other bug that I recently reported keeps popping up. I have days without any printing issue, but then suddenly the problem reappears and I have to export to PDF for printing.
  8. Transformation Origin locates itself in a different position from where it is moved to. This happens with certain curves, not with groups. Problem observed since the 2.0.3 release. I'm using Designer on MacOS Ventura 13.1.
  9. @Callum, there are instances where I can print, so it may be a memory problem. It happens both in Affinity Designer and Photo. Sometimes after a bit of work, but in other occasions also immediately after a full restart. I never had the issue in Affinity 1, it started after the upgrade. There is not much to do with a screen recording. The print dialog simply does not show after I press command+p or using the menu. I'm using a 2019 iMac 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5, 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 on Ventura (13.0.1).
  10. Since a few days I could only print once. The print dialog would only open after a restart, but now I cannot print at all both from Affinity Photo 2 and Affinity Designer 2. Nothing happens when pressing Command+p or using the menu. THIS HAS TO BE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE THERE IS NO WORKAROUND !!!!
  11. At first I could print once, but a second command failed and I had to save and restart the app, but now it won't print at all anymore! And even worse, the same thing happened in Affinity Photo 2.

  13. After a first print (command+P) the print windows does not pop up anymore. Have to save and restart to print.
