  1. Hi, I have been through my document and used the Section Manager to create the appropriate sections, having the page numbering start with Page 1 on the first chapter. It all looks good and I have double checked everything. But, when I create a table of contents via the TOC tab, the first section is not included and the TOC is created twice. Not sure what I may be doing incorrectly. TIA. Kindest regards, Graham
  2. I have managed to figure it out now. Many thanks for helping.
  3. Hi Walt, Apologies for my ineptitude. I now see where I have gone wrong, and am grateful for your education. I'll pop into the corner now and write it out 1000 times. Kindest regards, Graham
  4. Hi, I have two Master pages. Both 2-page spreads. Master Start has a single text frame on the right-hand page Master Main has a text frame on both pages My first 2-page spread has Master Start applied, and the second 2-pages has Master Main applied. I place a RTF file into the first page and it appears in the single right-hand frame as expected. Clicking on the text frame flow triangle while holding the shift key on the first page, starts the text flowing to the right-hand page text frame, instead of the left as required. Additional pages are automagically created, with the text flowing to the right-hand frame only each time. Hardware Overview: Model Name: Mac mini Model Identifier: Macmini7,1 Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Core i5 Processor Speed: 2.6 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 2 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 3 MB Hyper-Threading Technology: Enabled Memory: 8 GB System Firmware Version: 474.0.0.0.0 OS Loader Version: 540.120.3~22 SMC Version (system): 2.24f32 TIA
  5. Hi, As I am new to Affinity Publisher 2, so I'm not sure if this is my sausage fingers or a bug. I have two Master pages. Both 2-page spreads. Master Start has a single text frame on the right-hand page Master Main has a text frame on both pages My first page has Master Start applied, and the second page has Master Main applied. I place a RTF file into the first page and it appears in the single right-hand frame as expected. I insert a new page after the first one with Master Main applied. Clicking on the text frame flow triangle while holding the shift key on the first page, starts the text flowing to the right-hand page text frame, instead of the left as required. Additional pages are automagically created, with the text flowing to the right-hand frame only each time. I tried 'training' Publisher by manually flowing the text for the first 2-frame page and using autoflow from the last frame. But it just repeated its right-hand frame only trick. What am I doing wrong please? TIA
