MSIX, I've started Affinity in the pre *.exe era. But reading and writing *.ico should be independent of that.

I just took the symbols from here: loaded them into the software Photoline and exported as *.ico. Affinity is not capable of dealing with *ico, unfortunately.

Hey, same problem here, can't serif just publish the icons as we can try to use the properties of the link at the desktop to reconnect these. horst

das ganze paket besteht aus drei teilen: Publisher (für sogenanntes desktop publishing, also zum erstellen von zeitungen, broschüren ... ) Photo (zum bearbeiten von fotos) Draw (zum erstellen von grafiken) die haben zwar alle einen gemeinsamen kern sind aber auf unterschiedliche schwerpunkte angelgt, wie der name eben schon sagt. beim starten des probramms sollte dir angezeigt werden, welches du hast. versuch' doch mal einfach zu beschreiben was du vorhast, eventuell ein beispiel hochladen (weiß nicht, was man hier hochladen darf, bin selber neu hier 🙂 ) nicht entmutigen lassen!

moin Fusselchen, in welchem programmteil arbeitest du? das klingt nach Publisher? die einzelnen striche, linien werden zwar als 'Layer' bezeichnet und verhalten sich auch so , aber du kannst sie eher als objekte ansehen. ausweg ist, alle gezeichneten linien zu gruppieren: im Layer Panel auswählen, rechtsmausklick, gruppieren oder Strg + G. das verhalten ist also kein bug, sondern soll so sein und ist ein anderes verhalten als zum beispiel gemalte linien in einer ebene in einem pixeleditor (Photo). gruß, horst

ok, that works, but would be nice if I can handle from inside the software. More convenient is to use XnView (my standard quick view browser) as browser and to drag and drop from there

Hi Wal, thank you for the help. No I have managed to drag my subfolders containing textures from the file explorer (win) direct to the Asset Panel. Subfolder within the Asset Panel seem not to be possilbe? But how can I selct one ot these textures to be used as a fill or stroke bitmap with a selcted shape? horst p.s.: just found the categories 🙂
