Im simply trying to invert the gaussian blur layer so I can paint along the edges of the person but it keeps turning entire artboard grey which is the background color. Help appreciated. I included a screen recording and my document. 2023-04-02 17-23-14.mp4 3EDIT.afphoto

So Im removing wrinkles from a shirt with frequency separation but first I removed a logo with the impaintng brush. Now when I use clone stamp tool on area where logo was removed, the logo shows up again. Im wondering how I can fix this. pexels-mediawsEDIT.afphoto

The opacity is doing something weird where 0% now equals 100% opacity and 100% equals 0%. can someone help with this? Im trying to make a shadow on the right side of the camera 1.afphoto

In a photoshop tutorial the whitepoint color picker found in the levels dialog box is used on the earrings background to make it pure white. Is there an alternative method to this in affinity photo? 222670981_WhiteBackground-1.afphoto

Really need an Arc option for warp tool as seen in this screenshot of photoshop. In the photoshop tutorial the instructor uses the arc option to bend the bottom of the upside down product in order to make it fit or match the bottom of the top copy so she can make a reflection of the product. In affinity photo I have to bend both corner point which shrinks the whole image.

In the tutorial she used mixer brush to smooth out the scratches and on the ring so that's what I want to do. She put all her settings at 20% at the the top but affinity photo doesnt have all of those settings. I'll send copy of AP document.

I want to use paint mixer brush on jewelry, Ive seen photoshop tutorials on mixer brush for retouching jewelry but no affinity ones. Is there anyone here who can tell me the recommended setting for mixer brush when retouching jewelry? as the setting in photoshop are different.

Could I use frequency separation with guassian blur to get rid of wrinkles in clothing and other material? In photoshop I used apply image along with selected wrinkles and applying the guassian blur to remove them.

I cant share it because its a udemy course. Yeah I was experimenting with frequency separation feature and it seems like I can accomplish the result I want without applying an image to another image.

I'm doing a photoshop tutorial where they use frequency separation to apply a color image to a texture image and group them and select certain areas of a object to apply guassian blur to them. I've tried to do the same thing in affinity photo but the apply image panel doesn't have a offset and scale feature like photoshop. Is there a way to accomplish the same thing in affinity photo?
