    @mrshrike, are you able to provide a screen recording of the steps you're taking above so I can investigate this further? :)

    I am using Left (Drag) + Right mouse keys for straight line. Every time it is different result depending on letter shapes and where I drag the line etc. However Free-Hand mode works perfectly (for me). Similar sitution is with Subtract Geometry, which works in V1.

    Thanks for taking the time to respond. I did try that at the time, but it didn't seem to work.

    I double-checked again just now and realised the issue. You have to hold both mouse buttons for it to work. So problem solved for me!

    It seems that in the instructions, the phrase 'Drag' always includes holding the left mouse button. This is not illogical and they were obviously going for consistency but, where it makes sense in my head for all keyboard modifiers, for some reason it falls apart for me when the extra press is the right mouse button. I think phrasing it as "Left + Right button Drag" or "Both button Drag", could be possibly clearer. It's pedantic and highly conceptual, but it feels more like a 'modified drag' than a 'drag with modifier' in my mind.

    Regardless, thank you for the steer!

    Good advice - works better by holding both mouse buttons, however for me it does not always work. Also for me it sometimes does not work on all letters and is not consistent. Still a bit confusing.

    More than a list, you need the file path(s) to the image(s) as a CSV file.

    @mrshrike,

    GarryP has the right idea. Make a single page (non facing pages) Publisher document and have a Picture frame on the Master/Parent page. Use the data merge to place a picture into the frame. All the images will get placed into a generated 1000 page document. One to a page. You can export that as a PDF.

    Thanks for your suggestion!

    Welcome to the forums @mrshrike

    You might be able to do this sort of thing with the Data Merge functionality of Publisher but you would need a list of filenames, from which to do the merge, before you could do that.

    Otherwise I don’t think what you want is possible, unless I have misunderstood your requirements.

    Just out of interest, why are you wanting to do this?

    Thanks for the suggestion! So far I was using different software (that shall not be named :D) to do it, but in the near future I might not anymore.

    I am working on a graphic design project which include a lot of research and digital versions of many old books (with different page count). I cut out manually only what I need for further research/reference and then put it back in different Pdf files.

    I hope this answers your question.
