Export crashes Designer under Ventura Beta 2

Can confirm that I'm unable to open/import PDF or AI files either in Designer or in Photo while running Mac OS Ventura Beta 5 on a 16" MBP M1 Max. Would appreciate any temporary or permanent fixes for this! I normally wouldn't have upgraded my production machine to a beta OS but I needed to for compatibility with some other software libraries!
