  1. I find it impossible that this has not been fixed yet - now version 2 - still no fix?
  2. I like to make designed documents with embedded linked text from google, word, libre-office, pages or other - all work for me. My workflow: I/others write a text-flie. I design a document (Indesign works here) and embed/link the text to it. When edits are made in the text-file (xdoc or..) they appear in the designed document. Text-styles ect (Headings, bullets, I, B, ...) still works - and get the designed documents attributes. Id like to be able to have that workflow in publisher. Possible? Timeline? best regards Hans
  3. I Got it to work by redoing and getting the insert TOC on a page. Then I could reformat the TOC. The manual does not give any hint for that process. Ill have to retry it / so that I van make notes on how to do it! The @bookmarks to pdf translats into "make TOC entry link to pages", nice but hard to understand... best regards
  4. I have tryed to Create a TOC. No luck. The entire panel is not active at any time. Selecting tea text frame - no, writing in a text frame no. I normally use Indesign, and must admit it is a MUCH better program. I do hope affinity will work in the future. It was the same when Id came trying to replace Quark. No TOC, no index, no auto/flow on placed-linked text when updating the original text aso. But - please help, I would very much like to use Affinity so small project with students, and hope you will get up to speed at some time in the future. used : https://affinity.help/publisher/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Advanced/toc.html?title=Table of contents as reference. best regards Hans
