Hi, As I am typing my text is fading them disappearing what am I doing wrong?

I need help with this disappearing text please.

ok, oh my...I have to do it again. what about when i type and i cannot see the text what am i doing wrong

I saved the document as a pdf and when i opened it, turned out to be pixel

Also the cursor disappeared and cannot find it. thank you for your help

I did provide a screen shot before. Anyway please have a look at this, I created different layers as a book cover and now I cannot edit or delete. I have checked and the layers turned image alone. on the right side.

Hi, I have a book cover in a text frame however I cannot amend, delete or adjust the text. I cannot even see the cursor can anybody help me please. regards, Jane.

Hi Thank you for your response, I did try Garry's suggestion but never worked. I managed to get what I wanted eventually. What I did was to click the blue thing with the red cross on the top bar and it fixed my problem. As you can see it is all good now on the front page.

Hi, I need to put a text in white with no background and leave the image intact. How do I do this please help. I saw this topic was addressed in 2021 however I have followed what others has done but I cannot seem to work it out. thanks in advance.

I am creating a new text in publisher and I would like it to have a different background colour. Is there any possibility of inserting this? and if yes where do I go to do it. thanks.

Hi Garry, I used their guidelines and they sent me the cover page layout that is not the issue. Affinity does not have PDF/X01-2001 and that is what they need to submit their pdf files however they accepted the PDF/X01-2003 last time but not this time.

There is no problem with the cover that went all right. The problem I have is the interior since it has some graphics but when I submitted it last time I had grayscale and also I removed the icc colour profile and used pdf/x01-2003 and they had no issues at all.

I used what I have attached last time but ingramspark system still says I need to remove ICC colour profile. However, I had tried PDF/X3-2003 as well and got the same results. Now I have tried again but I am getting Server responded with 0 code so they might be having issues too.

Hi all, I feel really stupid, I was here two weeks ago with the same question and I managed to work it out myself. I am trying to submit my book which I did revision to ingramspark however I never changed any images or anything like that. Yet I have tried what I did last time using PDF/X01-2003 and they will not accept it. I do not know where I am going wrong. Can anyone assist, I need help. They accepted the first book got an authors copy and I just did some correction but wont accept the same thing. I do not understand and it is frustrating as hell. regards, Jane.
