  1. I figured out an alternative. I made sure nothing in the document or page was selected. I then clicked on the black arrow - the move tool. I then clicked once on the table. I then changed the font and font size. And it worked. I can now change the font and font size per cell if I want.
  2. I must be doing something wrong, cause it is not working, and applying it to a new table I have created it not working. This is way to complicated to change the font for an entire table. They need to make this easier. I should be able to select the entire table, and change the font type and size, but that does not work. I do not expect this to be Microsoft Excel or Word or anything, but to change the font in a table in Microsoft word is so much simpler. If you are willing to get a screen share, and help me out with this that would be great. Or I can attach the document here. I am a very visual learner.
  3. I have a document that is 60+ pages long. The document has a few tables, Headers, sub headers, and an index. The headers have a specific type of font we will call font A, and font size for the headers is 30. I am editing some of the tables. The font in the tables is a specific font we will font B, sized 12. When I clear out all the text and numbers in these cells, the cells default to Font A, size 30. I want to font to default through the tables, and document to default to size 12 font, and font B. Then I will change the font size and type manually for headers, sub headers, and other stuff if I need to.
  4. Thanks, I figured this out, after quite a bit of google searching. Though it is not very easy to find some of these panels.
  5. Windows 10 user Affinity Publisher v2. I am watching a tutorial on youtube, on how to create and build an index. The creator pops out the index panel, and I have no idea how they did that. How do I view the Index panel, or get it to pop out? For me, one of the most difficult things is viewing the panels, for some reason Affinity publisher seems to hide this and make this EXTREMELY difficult to view panels.
  6. Thanks for the help. I spent a couple of hours trying to find it in the documentation. I would like to say that releasing updated documentation at the same time as the new release is extremely important. When clicking on those those little arrows it never showed me anything. They do now, but I decided to go a different route. But at least now I know where it is. Thanks again.
  7. I have Affinity Publisher V2, Windows 10 Pro. When looking through the help, to add columns to the Text Frame, It says to go view > Studio. I click first on the Text frame tool, and then go to view, but do not see Studio, did it move, or in version 2 is there a different way of doing cloumns in Text Frames? I have attached a screen shot.
  8. Thanks for the help. That worked, but for some reason I was not able to get rid of all the lines around the cells, only some. So I must be doing something wrong.
  9. I am using Affinity Publisher version 2 and never figured this out in version 1. How do I remove the lines around the rows and columns so they are just blanks? I do not want the lines around the cells to be displayed.
  10. I save the files to locally to my documents folder on my C drive. And then there are 2 different cloud services that look at that location and back them up. yes I am paranoid about losing my files. The odd thing is, it is only this one file that has happened to, and it has not happened to any other files. Though this is the file I have modified the most in the last week.
  11. In Publisher I created a document called PlayersHandbook. Now and then while working on it, or after I open and close it, I can the following file name: PlayersHandbook (Conflicted).afpub What does that mean? How does it happen? This becomes very confusing to me, as I am not sure what one is the file I should be modifying. Today I saw two of the files, and then one was just named PlayersHandbook.afpub, so I deleted the other two. Is there something I am doing wrong? I can attach the file if needed if someone wants or needs to look at it. This has only happened with the players handbook, and not with any of the individual documents I created first, and then pulled those individual documents into the playershandbook.
  12. I love this Idea thanks. It may not be the Kindle I am thinking of, but there is some software for PC, or tablets, that when you view a PDF or Ebooks, it simulates actual page turns. I thought I saw it on the kindle, but I could be remembering wrong. Thanks for the help everyone. This thread can be closed, as I got my answers.
  13. I was hoping for something different than facing pages. For some reason my brain does not work well with that. I suppose I could send it to my kindle, and do page turns that way. I need a better visual representation than facing pages.
