I am trying to cut out a figure from a jpg, then turn the remainder of the jpg to sketch and then paste the cut figure back in original colour. All works well until I paste - when it comes back in black and white - not colour. Any suggestions Bob

I am trying to clean up old photos - the attachment is one of my sons when they were young. I have tried denoise and blemish removal but he result is not good - any suggestions from you experts

Hi William 7 It's the user tutorials that I am having problems with. I have a very low broadband - living in the sticks - so I need to download them all to view them. I have managed to download about 90% of the Designer tutorials but 4 of them just stick in my download window after starting to download. I have tried different resolutions to no avail. Bob

I am having problems downloading SOME tutorials in Designer. Most are fine but some start then stick - nothing - no matter how long I wait. Any suggestions?????? Thanks Bob

Whenever I try to cut out a part of a photo to put it into another it cuts the whole photo, not just the part I have selected with the brush tool. E.G. if i select a horse's head to place on a mans body I get the whole horse photo - field as well Any suggestions

Hi Callum I think I may have sorted it - The file I had saved to desktop was 'untitled'. The moment I changed the name of the file on the desktop it showed the picture icon I tried with another file and gave it a name and it also showed a picture icon. Thanks for your offer to help Bob

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to have .afphoto icons on desktop show a picture (like .jpg) rather than a plain icon Thanks Bob

Thanks for that CPP - I have downloaded the info for future use. I am a newbie to Mac as well as Affinity, which you can probably tell. I'm still bugged that I cannot see a thumbnail picture for .afphoto extensions and I am going to post again to see if i have any luck Thanks again Bob

Thanks CPP I tried it and it worked. It also enabled me to change all future opening of .afphoto to the same process. Am I stupid or ??????. Is there any link to basic things like this - I need an idiots guide as I am new to photography, let alone the programme Thanks again
