  1. I did use the default installation path for Publisher and Photo. Virtually all of my files are on a separate physical drive but the issue persists even when I try opening a file from drive C. No worries, I figured the only way to fix a problem (especially when it's an exception) is to do some good old testing.
  2. It seems to happen regardless of which files I’m working with. I’ve encountered it many times and didn’t figure out the pattern until deciding to report this gremlin.
  3. Both – it doesn’t open and after trying to open it from the explorer, it doesn’t show up in the list of recent documents either. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear enough. =)
  4. No, sadly the file that I try to open from the file explorer does not show up in Publisher’s list of recend documents. When I close the program and open it back up again, the latest entry is still the one opened directly from Publisher. But thanks for the super quick replies! I really appreciate that.
  5. Thanks for the replies! That’s interesting. Well, it’s not a huge problem for me, more of a minor inconvenience that I can work around. Anyway, I’ve attached a screen recording so maybe you can see if I missed anything: 2022-08-12 16-45-43.mp4
  6. Hey guys, first things first, I’m using the most current APublisher version on the most current version of Windows 10. When I start APublisher and open a document via File > Open Recent > ..., I’ll load just fine. When I try to open a second document from the File Explorer, nothing happens. Opening the same document from APublisher through Open Recent works though. Also, opening both documents from the File Explorer works. It seems to be the combination of opening through different ways that APublisher doesn’t like.
  7. Hi Callum, thanks for the response. I don’t have any of the software installed that you mentioned. All I can say is that on Windows 11, this seemed to happen at random, but probably every two to three hours. After having rolled back to Windows 10 (with all else being the same as far as I can tell), I haven’t run into this issue anymore. Also I forgot to mention that restarting the program fixed the issue temporarily.
  8. Hi everybody, I wanted to report a bug I encountered while trying out Windows 11 (have since rolled back to Windows 10 for various reasons). When working in Publisher, out of nowhere some written elements in the program’s UI were mangled, rendering the program unsuable. This happened multiple times but I wasn’t able to pinpoint a common factor. I’ve attached a screenshot that shows the problem. Notice that not all parts of the UI are affected. The document itself remained fully intact.
