  1. It's bizarre that they are all so different. I hadn't noticed until today when I couldn't find the contiguous tick box for the flood erase tool.
  2. Really? I'm sure I used to use it. How odd. Flood select and delete worked great for me, thank you.
  3. Hi, in Photo I used to be able to tick or untick the contiguous option when using the flood erase tool, but it's no longer there. Anyone know why or where it went? It's a useful option so can't understand why it's gone. I've tried searching for ways to turn it on but can't find anything. I did find someone else on this forum with the same problem, but it was an old post and didn't have a resolution to the question. Cheers.
  4. Thank you for the replies. I went back to the Stitch Fiddle people and it seems the numbers are not an actual font, they are exported as symbols and this is why it's not opening correctly in Publisher. They have the option of downloading as an SVG and this retains the numerical info. Unfortunately it means it imports as a huge page, rather than individual A4 pages. So I need to work out how to split it up into pages. Making progress anyway. Thank you.
  5. Hello, I'm having trouble importing a PDF into Publisher. It's importing all the numbers as symbols. I use a software called Stitch Fiddle to create crochet charts and patterns. The patterns export PDFs and I open them in Publisher to edit them. One of the pattern options is a graph where each square represents a crochet stitch. The squares are coloured so the reader knows what colour yarn to use. My latest design is complex and some of the shades are similar, so as well as having coloured squares, there is a number in each square to make it easy to identify which colour to use. The problem happens when I open the PDF in publisher, the numbers have all changed to symbols. I have attached three screenshots. The first one shows what it looks like in Stitch Fiddle. There are numbers on each square and the legend is shown on the left hand side. The second image shows the legend and the third image shows the coloured squares with symbols instead of numbers when opened in Publisher. I have tested the PDF by opening it in Preview and it looks correct and shows the numbers. So something is happening when the file is opened in Publisher. I also opened it in Photo and the same thing happens. I do get an error that the font is not available and I can choose a different font, but it doesn't make any difference if I try other fonts, they all appear as symbols. I have added a screenshot of the import dialogue box in case this helps. I'm using a MacBook and Publisher 1.10.6 Any help appreciated.
