  1. Sorry, but smart objects must be supported + Text + vector objects etc. when exporting a .psd file. You will never use Affinity Photo in a professional environment when it rasterizes smart objects, text and vector objects during the .psd export. This must be highest priority. Other programs can also export .psd files without these limitations.
  2. Hi, I noticed that Affinity Photo rasterizes Pixel Layer (Smart Objects) when you export a .psd file. This is really bad when you are working in a Photoshop pipleline where you use smart objects. This issue leads to critical problems. For example: When you are using Affinity Photo in a company to open .psd files (with smart objects) and work with them, then you get in trouble. Someone import the .psd file into Affinity Photo, makes corrections to it and exports this document back as a .psd file. Then all ! smart objects are broken because Affinity Photo rasterize them during the .psd export. And this person don´t know that he/she damaged all included smart objects in this document. This is really a no-go. Please add this feature in the next versions. Best regards, Andreas
  3. Thank you very much for the feedback. I created a new topic in the "Photo bugs..." area. But I guess the problems with the psd smart objects are not a bug. It is really a problem that smart objects disappear and are not saved during the .psd export.
  4. Hi, I like Affinity Photo very much but there a few very serious issues which keeps me using it. 1. Smart Objects disappear. I imported an Photoshop file with smart objects into Affinity Photo. (I set the option to "on" to import smart objects) I noticed that the graphics have sometimes streched and broken after an import. Furthermore some smart objects disappear when I save the converted .psd file as an Affinity Photo file. This issue appears when I open the file again. Sorry, but this is a no-go. When I export the converted .psd file with smart objects again as an .psd file, all smart objects are rasterized. This is also a no-go when you are using Affinity Photo in a Photoshop environment. 2. Affinity Photo crashes a lot. In most cases it crashes when I use .psd files or import .psd files. I have an Ryzen X5950 CPU and 64 GB Ram witzh Windows 11. For this reason It is not understandable why the program constantly crashes. Photoshop and all of my other programs are working without any problems. 3. Graphic problems. I get graphic errors with my GTX 2080 Ti and the current NVIDIA drivers. This is annoying. I tried different settings. But the problem persists. I hope these issies can be fixed. Affinity Photo is really a great program. But as I said, it is not usable at the moment for me. Best regards, Andreas
  5. Hi, I have a Photoshop Pipeline. For this reason Affinity Photo is useless for me at the moment because of these reasons: 1. Smart Objects can be imported (but are sometime streched for some reason) but when I save the document as an Affinity Photo document some smart objects disappear when I open the document again. Furthermore smart objects get rasterized when I save the imported .psd file again as an .psd file. This is really a no-go. I expect that these smart objects are exported as smart objects and not as rasterized graphics. This could lead to serious problems during a job. 2. Infinity Photo crashes very often with my PC (Ryzen 5950 + 64 GB Ram). Photoshop works with this configuration without any problems. It happens also very often that Infinity Photo crashes during the import of a .psd file. 3. I have many purchased vector custom shapes for Photoshop which I cannot use in Affinity Photo. I hope that this feature will be integrated in the future. 4. Graphic errors in the viewport. I own a Geforce GTX 2080 Ti and I am using the latest NVIDIA drivers. Nevertheless I have sometimes heavy graphic errors in the viewport. Best regards, Andreas
