Hope this is allowed. Which one would you prefer to draw it in? And explain why. Prefer if coming from someone who used both, and this is just purely for illustrations, no animation or comic or price involved. PC version alone, not mobile. I did tried asking in Art reddit first, but no one answered me though so I'm asking here instead. Thank you

In Pixel Persona how do I enable the ones where it'll automatically add a new layer under the currently using layer whenever I draw a line or something? So like I add a layer, and I draw 3 different lines so it create 3 additional layers under the layer I created. It seems to do that in Designer Persona, but not in Pixel Persona though.

In the screenshot on the right you see alot of tabs like Colors, but there's alot of useful ones so it end of taking alot of space to the point that others become smaller like the Layers. But I don't wanna just drag and make it be next to it either cause than the middle will look smaller. So to solve this issue I was wondering if there's a way to make it be icon based like the one on the left, but the color icon be separate and be on the right side instead. Hope this made sense. I saw a video where their photoshop was like that so I was wondering if Affinity Designer can do it too. You can see the Photoshop video I mentioned in the second screenshot (not done by me).

Why do people combine both Pixel and Vector together in Affinity Designer? Maybe it's cause I'm new to drawing, but I saw a video of someone combining both and I didn't saw the difference in terms of drawing. Only drawing I saw was when when zooming in you can see the pixel, but you don't see the pixel in Vector. But at that point why not keep using only Vector than, cause wouldn't it be easier to see and correct? The video I saw when starting off with Pixel like a Sketch, but then start lining when switch to Vector. Is it cause Pixel have alot more custom brushes thanks to Photoshop being popular, or is it more than that? (Though if that's it then I wished we could use AI brushes too but it is what it is) And if that's the case then why not just draw only in pixel, then couldn't you just draw only in Photo, or is it cause Designer has more brushes since it has both Vector and Pixel or/and is it cause the tools Designer has is more suited to drawing instead? P.S: I don't know what bitmap nor Raster work means. Hope this made sense and thank you for reading

Any Vector brushes you recommend me to use in Affinity Designer? The file that's under .afbrushes or .abr. You can just tell me your favorite and I can download it if it looks interesting. I have no custom vector brushes yet so this would help alot. Thank you And free ones if that's ok since I can't afford to buy anything yet.

Can I add brushes from Adobe Illustrator? If so then how? Cause I never used Adobe illustrator but I did found a brush that says .ai which I'm assuming "a" for Adobe and "i" for illustrator, but when I tried to add a brush in Designer it couldn't find it and it looks like it's trying to find afbrushes or abr file in particular. So I wanna know if I can add a brush from AI? I was able to find a way to add a brush from photoshop since it was under abr, but what about illustrator? Since illustrator use Vector too.

Brushes

That's a shame. There's alot more photoshop brushes than illustrator probably cause it's way more popular, and photoshop is pixel based and can be used for both editing and drawing even though it's more intended for editing. Hence I ended up finding alot of photoshop brushes, which got transferred to Pixel. Thank you for letting me know though, now that I know it's called Vector I'll look up Vector brushes now. Thank you
