  1. Hope this is allowed. Which one would you prefer to draw it in? And explain why. Prefer if coming from someone who used both, and this is just purely for illustrations, no animation or comic or price involved. PC version alone, not mobile. I did tried asking in Art reddit first, but no one answered me though so I'm asking here instead. Thank you
  2. Oh, that kind of shortcut. I thought it was desktop shortcut. That's a shame. Thank you though :3
  3. When I launch Affinity Designer it always start in Designer, so I have to switch to Pixel Persona everytime. Is there a way to start in Pixel Persona instead as a default?
  4. I know I can use a commend, but automatic would be alot easier. Plus using that commend everytime I draw a line would be a hassle, and I might forget too. Thank you though, but I'm assuming there's no automatic thing on Pixel Persona than? :3
  5. And there's no way to add a new layer per every brush stroke in Pixel Persona too?
  6. In Pixel Persona how do I enable the ones where it'll automatically add a new layer under the currently using layer whenever I draw a line or something? So like I add a layer, and I draw 3 different lines so it create 3 additional layers under the layer I created. It seems to do that in Designer Persona, but not in Pixel Persona though.
  7. In the screenshot on the right you see alot of tabs like Colors, but there's alot of useful ones so it end of taking alot of space to the point that others become smaller like the Layers. But I don't wanna just drag and make it be next to it either cause than the middle will look smaller. So to solve this issue I was wondering if there's a way to make it be icon based like the one on the left, but the color icon be separate and be on the right side instead. Hope this made sense. I saw a video where their photoshop was like that so I was wondering if Affinity Designer can do it too. You can see the Photoshop video I mentioned in the second screenshot (not done by me).
  8. And if I draw in Pixel Persona? I still see both Layers and Pixel Layers option. Should I draw in Pixel Layers than? And what do you mean capital. and without the capital? I only see the capital, where's the one without the capital?
  9. 1) How do I create a Folder? I wanna try organizing each layers. 2) What's the difference between Layers and Pixel Layers?
  10. At first when I launch it's ok, but if Designer has been up long enough then right side seem to lag when I draw as in when I draw a line it takes 5 second or more for it to appear and even after it appears it gets super blurry. Left and middle is ok than. Is there a fix for this?
  11. I know Designer can be pick between Vector and Pixel, while Photo is all about Pixel I think. What if I want to draw in Pixel mode? Then would Photo be better for drawing, or would Designer still be better? And explain why.
  12. Why do people combine both Pixel and Vector together in Affinity Designer? Maybe it's cause I'm new to drawing, but I saw a video of someone combining both and I didn't saw the difference in terms of drawing. Only drawing I saw was when when zooming in you can see the pixel, but you don't see the pixel in Vector. But at that point why not keep using only Vector than, cause wouldn't it be easier to see and correct? The video I saw when starting off with Pixel like a Sketch, but then start lining when switch to Vector. Is it cause Pixel have alot more custom brushes thanks to Photoshop being popular, or is it more than that? (Though if that's it then I wished we could use AI brushes too but it is what it is) And if that's the case then why not just draw only in pixel, then couldn't you just draw only in Photo, or is it cause Designer has more brushes since it has both Vector and Pixel or/and is it cause the tools Designer has is more suited to drawing instead? P.S: I don't know what bitmap nor Raster work means. Hope this made sense and thank you for reading
