  1. My apologies, I do have 1.10, and yes, that did not help. I agree wholeheartedly with @Barry Newman, Serif needs to get this warning implemented; it cannot be that hard.
  2. Has this been solved? I have 1.9 on macOS. Wanted to work on my file while away from desktop, so I got the iPad version, opened the file. Only found the time to add one text box to the file and paste text into it. Came back to desktop and it tells me I cannot open the file because it contains new features. What new features? Since when is textbox a new feature? Now countless hours of work are lost because I opened a file on iPad. How is this okay? Why aren't there any warnings about this? And I cannot even restore my file to previous version because fort this I need to open the file and then go to File > Restore Previous Version. I also don't have a time machine backup. Severely disappointed in Affinity for this gross oversight. SOLVED: Get a trial version of V2, then copy paste all objects back into a new V1 file.
  3. Great, thanks! Is there a page detailing all the perks and the required milestones?
  4. Hi! I'm not seeing the edit avatar button either. Maybe make it clear to the user that they will get the button at some point later. This brings me to the question: once I do get enough rep, or whatever it is I need, will this change take place automatically, or do I still need to alert one of the moderators? Thanks!
  5. Sure. Here is the redacted version of the file. The issue was verified to still occur in the uploaded version of the file. Thank you for your help. Graphs and Figures REDACTED.afdesign
  6. Hello! Thank you! Yes, I am currently unable to reproduce the problem in the original post, however, I am still experiencing issues with adjustments. I first invert an image, then apply the B&W adjustment, and the image disappears (Screenshot 1). If I uncheck either one of the adjustments in the layers panel, the image reappears, reflecting the checked adjustments. If I move the B&W adjustment above the Inverse adjustment, both become visible and work as expected (Screenshot 2). ========================== My specs, if helpful: MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012), 2.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1 GB & Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB (auto graphics switching is on)
  7. Hi! I'm on macOS, v1.10.1. I drag and drop PNGs into my Designer file, then try to invert the images, or do a layers adjustment, but none of the adjustments are showing up. Adjustments appear in the layers panel, but the changes are not reflected in the actual images. Also, using the "delete" keyboard button does not delete these, forcing me to right click and choose delete from the context menu. What's wrong? Restarting Affinity does not alleviate the issue. Immediate update, in the middle of writing this post: just swiped over to take a screen shot, made the adjustment, and it worked. Literally, nothing changed between now and then (not even a restart), except that I registered on this forum and started writing the post. I am extremely confused. What is happening? Thanks, Nick
